MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a professional environment that allows WHW members at all levels to
network, share contacts, build relationships, forge partnerships, hire
from within, bond, collaborate, brainstorm, inspire, empower, mentor,
support, and most of all, reach out to mentor and assist others in
realizing their highest potential. The Women Helping Women™ agenda is
not only huge, it’s feasible.
MEMBERSHIP DUES:
- General Individual: $95
- Corporate: $495 (limit 3 memberships, one company)
- Associate: $65 (Film, Television, Theatre, Music students
-- proof required)
PROCESSING FEE:
The one-time nonrefundable
processing fee per person is $35.
BENEFITS:
Women Helping Women presents a real opportunity for its members to gain
access, make connections and build business relationships on a personal
level. This is implemented through a series of programs as follows:

mentoring programs.

career-enhancing programs and networking events (including pre-event schmoozefests™),
general networking events, shared contacts, workshops, seminars and informal
meetings) — all designed to promote a spirit of togetherness and
effective networking, as well as to support, encourage and educate
members as it pertains to them and their careers.

services.

Women Helping Women will continually seek to expand the knowledge
and experiences of its members and will continue to offer a plethora of
unique opportunities, especially those that provide access.
WHO SHOULD JOIN:
Writers, producers, directors, development and production execs,
music execs, casting directors, agents, managers, attorneys,
financiers, editors, physical production talent, actors, performers, etc.,
at various levels of accomplishment, with at least two years
experience in the entertainment industry, and who fully
understand and embrace the premise of Women Helping Women.
The two-year entertainment industry experience requirement is
waived for students of film, television, and music (proof
is required) and may be waived for others with a compelling reason
for requesting waiver consideration.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA: Membership in Women Helping Women is
open to both women and men, of all ethnicities, who are actively
involved or employed in the entertainment industry. However, our interest is
only in those who embrace the concept and actively wish to promote the
ideals of Women Helping Women — to support, inspire, work, empower and
collaborate with women in the entertainment industry. Members are
required to make a pledge to that effect and subscribe to a
Code of
Ethics & Conduct before enrollment is approved.
All prospective members must be sponsored by a WHW member. If a
sponsor is not available, a request for “waiver of sponsorship” may be
made in the space provided for on the membership application.
