Submission Guidelines to Win an Opportunityto have a One-On-One Private Meetingwith a WHW Luncheon Panelist or a WHW Event Guest SpeakerPLEASE READ CAREFULLYNOTE: The private one-on-one meetings with WHW panelists or guest speakers are available only when the panelists/speakers have agreed to accommodate our request to meet privately with a "promising" WHW event attendee. We will let you know which speakers are able to participate, when we have that information, so check our official email notices/updates and information on this site carefully. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Our guests are accessible at ALL of our events. This may be all you need at this point -- to attend the event and have the opportunity to meet and greet our guests, chat a minute, and set the foundation to later follow up with them, with a view to nurturing a relationship. Wanting to meet privately with a panelist or guest speaker simply to "pick her brain" is not reason enough for this opportunity. Our panelists and guest speakers are professionals of the highest caliber with extremely hectic schedules, who want to give their time to someone who is "ready." Therefore, this this unique opportunity to meet privately with a panelist or a guest speaker is open only to promising writers, producers, directors, actors and others with decent credits, who need -- and are prepared for -- a "leg up" to get to the next level. The private one-on-one meetings are not for beginners. Please bear that in mind when you submit. CRITERIA: Send us your resume, photo, business card and a note (a paragraph of 10 lines or less) telling us why you would like to meet with a particular panelist and why you feel you are the best candidate for this opportunity. If you have already sent us your check and would like to be considered for this unique opportunity, you can still send us your information, postmarked by the check postmark deadlines. Our Women Helping Women™ team will review the submissions and decide upon the lucky candidates. We will provide you with contact information for the panelist, but you will be responsible for following-up and scheduling your private meeting. MEETING: Private networking time with a panelist will be in the form of a lunch meeting, a meeting at her office or shadowing her for part of a day – whichever is more convenient for the panelist. Note: If you want to be considered for the lunch meeting and you meet the criteria, you must be prepared to host – that is, pick up the tab for lunch. WHAT WE ASK IN RETURN: The only thing we ask in return for this valuable
opportunity we are providing is, after you’ve met with the Women Helping
Women™ panelist, to send us feedback (in the form of a note/letter),
within one week of your meeting…and kindly keep us updated as to any
resultant developments. |
